National Taiwai University Poetry Translation Workshop
The English versions of contemporary Taiwan poetry listed below began with drafts generated in a spring term creative writing poetry translation workshop at the Dept. of Foreign Languages & Literatures, National Taiwan Univ. Part of a U.S. Fulbright professorship, the course was led by Pangolin House editors George O’Connell and Diana Shi. Peking University Poetry Translation Workshop
The translations listed immediately below began with drafts generated in a graduate creative writing poetry translation workshop conducted by George O’Connell during a Fulbright professorship at Peking University. Diana Shi served as Research Assistant, selecting and coordinating the poems to be translated. Initial drafts were usually rendered by more than one participant, then collectively advanced.
